The ability to mount more than one aiming and
illumination solution provides versatility in the field.
Above, the EOTech 552XR500 is mounted on the
8" solid top rail and B.E. Meyers LA4/PEQ Laser
Illuminator on the 3 1/2" modular side rail.
There are 7 locations that sights and
devices can be mounted on the ATSS MKIII.
The all steel sight and Laser mount uses the
geomertry of the M2HB to lock the mount
solidly to the gun.

Key Benefits

The ATSS-M2HB1003 mount is designed for M2HB
machine guns attached to vehicles by pedestal or ring
mounts using the MK93 or MK64 gun mounts and facilitates
the use of aiming lasers, optical sights, and other accessories
equipped with an M1913 rail mount.

The MKIII uses the geometry of the M2HB barrel
support and receiver to provide a solid sight mounting
platform forward of the receiver.

Multiple rail locations provide for the mounting of up to seven
individual devices on the gun. The top rail with two modular
side rails allows simultaneous use of top-mounted holographic
sights or aiming lasers with the existing iron sights while fitting
through the 5" gap of a standard HMMVW shield.

The forward position of the mount allows unimpeded access
to the top cover and loading tray, fast target acquisition with
sights and mounted illuminators/aiming lasers.  Soldier safety
is enhanced by moving the mount and attached devices
forward and away from where they can contact the gunner
when confined to the limited area of ring mounts.  The mount
allows gunners to stay low in the vehicle reducing risk from
projectiles and debris.
